We have made a reasonable start to the provision of ICT CPD via the NELC ICT Training schools and I am keen to ensure that this continues to improve and develop so that all staff in primary schools can access high quality and appropriate ICT training. This is particularly relevant now in the light of the Rose Review with its focus on ICT as an entitlement and the BSF / Primary Capital Programme with its emphasis on 21st century learning. The course planner is now available from: http://www.lcc.tlfe.org/ictcourseplannersept09.xls (Please note all courses must be booked via the Lighthouse or Margaret.campbell@nelincs.gov.uk)k |

NELMA 2010!!!!! It might seem a bit mad to be talking about next year’s NELMA (July 2010). However the idea is that schools look at their taught curriculum for opportunities where film or animation will support teaching and learning e.g. e-safety, literacy, science and so on. Schools are then encouraged to hold their own in-school NELMA to select their best work to be submitted through to the LA NELMA. If you would like to have the chance to influence next year’s NELMA themes you can vote for you favourite at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=4rGgxFnBvlA0sPHqQhlhEQ_3d_3d |
